Overspeeds eradicated. MSxF Units physically restrict the hoist’s acceleration and speed, without monitoring them in any way. An inherent property that no erroneous command nor setting nor malfunction can circumvent to provoke a dangerous overspeed condition.

Better systems put out the fire when it is really small. With the delay necessarily incurred by the usual “Monitoring+Brakes” closed-loop systems before starting to brake, the kinetic energy they need to dissipate to stop the load is far greater since it grows with the square of speed. No such problems in MotoSuiveur-Secured hoists!

The full arresting torque instantly. Thanks to a  stack of 55+ friction plates pressed together by powerful belleville springs, the MSxF Unit’s arresting torque is delivered “in full” from when friction plate slipping starts until it ends, without delay or ramp — enabling barely visible 20 mm arrests.

How MotoSuiveur Solutions
achieve hoist fail-safety.

Permissive operation. MSxF Units do not rely on sensors, switches and micro-controllers, capricious and complex systens suffering from the built-in delays of any feedback loop. Instead, they mechanically permit only safe hoist operation. With this much more powerful approach, MS-secured hoists inherently and instantly default to a safe arrested state whenever hoisting is disrupted.
Passive arrest. Thanks to permissive operation, the kinetic energy to be dissipated to arrest the load is a full order of magnitude smaller. With their ingenuous friction plates stack, MSxF Units instantly deliver the maximum pre-set arrest torque — without delay or ramp. The net result is an extremely short and smooth arrest of as low as 20 mm of load descent.
